Patara Yacht Charter,

Once a large and important maritime city, today the extensive ruins of Patara are scattered all around this area waiting for your discovery and with one of the longest sandy beaches in Turkey at 18 kilometres in length, this cruising destination is one not to be missed whilst you sail Turkey

Lycian civilizations once lived in this ancient city, and you can also see evidence of many smaller villages within its boundaries.
Patara region has always been a large part of Antalya's Kas district.

The archaeological research in the area of Patara in Lycia is one of the oldest, 9 BC. The great ruins and remains of the city that we see today show its importance and wealth and there is still evidence of the main harbour. Patara is situated on a triangular plain in the mountains west of Kas. Summers are very warm and dry and winters are mild and often rainy.

Our guests who desire a private cabin rental on an Olympos Boat Charter can join our tour of this region, they will also have the opportunity to visit the town of Kalkan, and Kas Harbour. Kas is a beautiful village with many boutique shops, cafe's and restaurants on the waterfront.
